Mark is an E-RYT 500 instructor with thousands of hours of study and over 2,000 hours of teaching experience. He has trained extensively in Hatha, Vinyasa, Power Flow, Restorative, Yin, Iyengar, and Yoga Nidra, with a special focus on alignment-based practices from the teachings of Maya Yoga and Iyengar traditions. His deep knowledge of body mechanics ensures that each movement is guided with precision, helping you cultivate strength, flexibility, and stability safely and effectively.
In addition to physical postures, Mark integrates breathwork (pranayama) and meditation to enhance your mind-body connection. He has facilitated multiple 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher trainings and co-led silent meditation retreats, equipping him with a profound understanding of mindfulness and self-inquiry. Each private session can incorporate guided meditation, breathwork techniques for energy balance, and hands-on adjustments to refine alignment.
